Winston Thomas grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, where cooking wasn't a career choice — it was just what everyone did. After training in food and nutrition, he spent years working in professional kitchens across Sint Maarten, The Bahamas, and Curaçao before moving to the Netherlands in 2012. Today he runs Chef Thomas Café in Zandvoort and works as a private chef across North and South Holland.
From private dinners to large-scale celebrations, the approach doesn't change: fresh ingredients from local Dutch markets, Caribbean-international flavours built from scratch, and the kind of warm hospitality that makes every guest feel like they're eating at a friend's house.
